Welcome to Kent County Girls on the Run
Our program promotes healthy living, self-esteem and strong values through exercise and mentoring. Girls in 3rd through 8th grade learn life skills and health education while training for a 5K (3.1 miles) running event. |

2008 marks the fifth year of Kent County Girls on the Run! In that time, we have grown from 370 girls to more than 750 this season. Our ultimate goal is to provide all our girls with:
¨ Self-esteem ¨ Strong values ¨ Health education ¨ Life skills development ¨ Mentoring relationships ¨ Physical training
